When we struggle to become our most chaste selves, we give honor and glory to God!

Join with others as we read and reflect on a scripture verse each day on Chastity and pray all, or at least a section of the Chastity Prayer. Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made by hands,
a copy of the true one, but heaven itself,
that he might now appear before God on our behalf.
Not that he might offer himself repeatedly,
as the high priest enters each year into the sanctuary
with blood that is not his own;
if that were so, he would have had to suffer repeatedly
from the foundation of the world.
But now once for all he has appeared at the end of the ages
to take away sin by his sacrifice.
Just as it is appointed that men and women die once,
and after this the judgment, so also Christ,
offered once to take away the sins of many,
will appear a second time, not to take away sin
but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, since through the blood of Jesus
we have confidence of entrance into the sanctuary
by the new and living way he opened for us through the veil,
that is, his flesh,
and since we have “a great priest over the house of God,”
let us approach with a sincere heart and in absolute trust,
with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed in pure water.
Let us hold unwaveringly to our confession that gives us hope,
for he who made the promise is trustworthy.

Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Lord, help me with personal purity and self-control. (week one)
Give me purity of thought and guard my mind from lustful or impure thoughts.
Bless me with a clean heart and right desires.
Strengthen me to have control over my desires and resist temptations of the flesh.
Illuminate my mind to have proper discernment in friendships and romantic relationships.
Deliver me from the desire to look at or read inappropriate things.
Lord, strengthen me and guide me in spiritual growth. (week two)
Give me the strength and courage to resist the pressure of sexual sin.
Humble me with a heart that longs for God above worldly pleasures.
Strengthen me with self-control and faithfulness in all my relationships.
Energize me so that I am joyfully obedient to Scripture regarding chastity.
Transform me so that I actively seek renewal each day by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, let me be a light to those around me. (week three)
Provide me with other believers to guide me and walk alongside me in purity.
Encourage me to be a source of encouragement to others.
Embolden me with a willingness to make necessary changes.
Convict me of the need to present my self with dignity and dress modestly.
Direct all who need wisdom, boundaries and spiritual focus in romantic relationships.
Lord, keep me focused on the future and filled with the gift of hope. (week four)
Give me an honest and open spirit so I can recognize areas of sin in my life.
Fill me with me contentment as I find and live my vocation.
Bless all married couples with strong marriages and families.
Heal me from past sexual sin.
Convince me of the need to passionately pursue virtue.
